Abstract

Vegetable growers of the southern regions of Dagestan all year round are engaged in vegetable growing-open ground, using low-film tunnels and greenhouses replacing crops and providing vegetables to the population of the Republic and beyond. Derbent region belongs to the Northern dry subtropics, which allows the population to cultivate vegetable crops conveyor. Alternating cultures and varieties by group of ripeness: cabbage, radish, cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplant, pumpkin, zucchini, onion, garlic. From a huge variety of crops and varieties of domestic selection in the area is not cultivated, because our leading scientists vegetable growers are not engaged in the introduction of their varieties, as well as advertising.
