Abstract

By the method of native electrophoresis and specific coloringthepresence of lipoxygenase in mitochondria was shown. Molecular mass of the enzyme was determined as 99±2 kDa. An increase of enzyme activity under hypoxia and CO2-media was noted but only during first 3-6hr of gas media influence. Kinetic parameters KM and Vmax of mitochondrial lipoxygenase were determined in plants under normal aeration, hypoxia and high concentrations of carbon dioxide.
