Abstract

The allelopathic effect of extract from the leaves of the Malus domestica Borkh, Padus avium Mill. and Pinus sylvestris L. were studied on seed germination and the development of the germinal root of lawn grasses of Lolium perenne L., Poa pratensis L., Festuca rubra L. and Agrostis capillaris L.. The degree of sensitivity to phytoncide of wood plant of seeds growing was determined in relation to the germination rate and root length in the experimental and control variants expressed in percentage terms
