Abstract

The conductivity of cell membranes and the content of malondialdehyde in wheat leaves under conditions of double water-salt stress, as well as the possibility of plant recovery after stress exposure were studied. It was found a direct dependence of conductivity of the membranes from the accumulation of MDA or the degree of development of oxidative stress. At the same time the young leaves were more resistant to stress than old leaves.
