Abstract

High critical temperatures of the summer period and drought limit the production of stable harvests of apple trees in the conditions of the south of Russia. The physiological and biochemical parameters that provide the metabolic mechanisms of the scab- immune and non immune apple tree varieties to hightemperature stress are revealed. Our study pointed out cations of calcium, proline, carotenoid, ascorbic, chlorogenic, caffeic acid, peroxidase activity as the high temperature stress markers in apple trees.
