Abstract

The article deals with the issues of visualization of hidden defects and anomalies of seeds, which must be taken into account when conducting precision morphological and physiological studies, as well as in the analysis of hidden injury in the production batches of seeds. The description of the main types of latent defects and methods of their decoding based on the method of digital x-ray analysis of seeds is given. The use of modern x-ray equipment and methods of automated analysis of x-ray images of the seed allows digitizing x-ray images, which makes it possible to automate their analysis to obtain quantitative characteristics of the detected hidden defects of the seeds.
