Растительные сообщества контакта сред в Байкальском регионе отражают современные тенденции формирования и развития растительности территорий конкретных физико- географических условий разных районов Прибайкалья и Забайкалья. Такие сообщества являются региональным моделями в индикации современной структурно-динамической организации растительности, отражают прошедшие изменения и могут быть использованы в прогнозе возможных изменений (или деструкций) вектора формирования растительности при определенных сценариях динамики климата региональных и континентальных масштабов. Установлено, что экотоны и сообщества, отражающие парагенез (объект) в растительности, определяют структурные и динамические особенности растительного покрова региона в пространстве и времени. Такие сообщества имеют классификационное значение при их типизации, характеризуя структуру растительности и биоты региона в целом.
Книга рассчитана для биогеографов, географов, экологов и специалистов, занимающихся вопросами природопользования на Байкальской природной территории. А также для всех, интересующихся природой Байкальской Сибири.>
